Dry shampoo is a bathroom essential for me – it’s a saviour on those days when there’s no time for washing and drying my hair and I need some urgent assistance. Until now I’ve been a Batiste user through and through because my previous attempts at trying other brands have been quite underwhelming. However… that has all changed. I’ve just discovered No Drought from Lush.
Unlike Batiste this isn’t a spray in an aerosol can, it’s a fine powder that comes in a little bottle and you simply massage it into your hair (focussing at the roots and scalp) before brushing it through. It’s full of oil-absorbing powders which really do get rid of any greasiness, and just like Batiste you’re not left with any visible powder once it’s all massaged through. It really refreshes the hair and I think it is even better than Batiste for making your hair look presentable for an extra day.
Then thanks to the lime and grapefruit ingredients it has a really pleasant smell (that’s right, no more obvious “dry shampoo” smell) which is really refreshing.
Then on top of all that, No Drought is also pretty good at creating volume at the roots, which is another great reason to try it. I’ve always found that dry shampoo has this benefit, but so far this one has been the best example of it.
