With the right trouser shape, it's easy to shed a few extra pounds. Here are my tips.

1. Chinos
Casual chinos are cut wider at the hips than other trousers. Their loose cut allows room for wider hips. If the chino is also cut a little higher, it can also conceal a small belly. They are therefore the ideal trousers for the famous two or three kilos too much.
2. Trousers with vertical stripes
It's not just a cliché: vertical stripes make you slim because they stretch the silhouette and make every woman look taller. Even small women look a few centimetres taller. The best effect is achieved with straight-leg trousers or jeans. If you want to go the extra mile, you can wear them with pumps or high heels.
3. Marlene trousers
Marlene trousers are not only one of the classics among trousers, they are also particularly good for cheating with your figure. Women with a round bottom and strong legs should therefore opt for this model. The high waist and wide legs make the thighs look slimmer.
4. The 7/8 cut
If you thought that trousers with short 7/8 cuts squeeze the body, you were wrong. Quite the opposite. Simply combine them with shoes with heels. With them you can already gain a few centimetres. If you don't like walking on high heels, you can't go wrong with flat shoes. However, these should have a pointed toe.
5. High-waisted jeans
If you have slim legs but tend to have a little tummy, it's best to wear trousers with a high waist. They conceal the few excess pounds. They are also super trendy this season.
