4 things you need to do to get beautiful skin

Removing make-up

Every evening, we don't skip make-up removal, even when we get home very late! And yes, it's very restrictive, but now with micellar lotions, make-up removal oils, make-up removal towels, wipes etc... you have no excuse ;)

Finally, every morning, depending on the sensitivity of your skin and its needs, you can cleanse it with a make-up remover lotion or micellar water, or a toner. Or spray on a moisturising thermal mist.

Moisturise

It can't be said often enough: skin that isn't sufficiently moisturised doesn't reflect light well, make-up won't hold on as well and, in time, it will become marked and age much more rapidly. Because water is necessary for skin renewal, and moisturising cream forms a protective barrier that retains water in the skin's upper layer. Without sufficient hydration, fine dehydration lines will eventually appear and settle on your face. So moisturise and moisturise again, morning and night at least, for a beautiful, radiant complexion and soft, plump skin.

There's no excuse for those with oily skin either. Because if you don't moisturise, you're going to get into a vicious circle: your skin will protect itself from external aggression and drying out by producing more sebum, and you'll end up with even oilier skin. There are a number of pharmacy brands that offer moisturising, non-comedogenic creams for oily skin, so go for it!

AND don't forget that cell hydration also involves drinking enough water - so go for tea, herbal teas, lemon water, fruit and vegetables...

Exfoliate

It's important not to let dead skin accumulate on your face and body to avoid a dull complexion and improve the effectiveness of skin care products. Exfoliation will refine and smooth your skin texture and stimulate cell renewal. There are several types of scrub to choose from, depending on your skin type: granular, enzymatic (you don't need to scrub), or do-it-yourself natural scrub (sugar, coffee grounds, honey, etc.). Sensitive or dry skin can opt for the gentler enzymatic scrub. Others can do just about anything. Exfoliation is normally done once or twice a week, but it depends on you and your skin. I wouldn't recommend it if you have a flare-up of eczema or skin damaged by an allergy, for example.

Warning: if you choose a granular scrub, look carefully at the composition. Don't use one that contains plastic microbeads, which pollute the oceans and disturb the flora and fauna. Look out for the words "polyethylene".

CLEANING YOUR BRUSHES, BLENDER, SPONGES...

It's not the coolest part, but you have to do it from time to time if you don't want to end up with lots of bacteria on your face and blemishes. You have to do it at least once a week. I cleanse with soap and warm water, but there are sprays and lotions that save a bit of time, I have to admit.
